Portrait Sessions


At Laughing Lobster Photography, portrait sessions are all about capturing your story with authenticity and ease, set against the natural beauty of Nova Scotia. Instead of stiff, traditional studio posing, I create a relaxed and personal experience — guiding you gently while letting real moments and natural expression shine through. Every session begins with a thoughtful consultation where we talk about your vision, your preferred locations, and the mood you want to achieve. Whether you’re drawn to rugged coastlines, quiet forest trails, or a meaningful indoor space, I’ll help you choose a setting that reflects who you are.

During the shoot, I keep things fun, comfortable, and conversational, making the process feel more like hanging out than being photographed. Afterward, we review the images together and select the portraits that truly capture your personality and presence. Each session includes beautifully edited, high-resolution images delivered digitally — ready to print, frame, or share.

With training from the New York Institute of Photography and a passion for meaningful, location-driven imagery, I combine technical skill with a warm, people-first approach. My goal is simple: to create portraits that feel genuine and timeless, and to give you an experience that feels easy, enjoyable, and memorable from beginning to end.   • One-hour session with 30–40 edited photos for $225 + HST,
  • 30-minute mini session with 10–15 edited photos for $125 + HST,
