Here’s a refined version that integrates your background more naturally, tightens the language, and improves flow while keeping your voice intact:

Photography has been part of Andrew’s life for as long as he can remember. What started with a simple film camera as a kid—just enjoying the act of capturing moments—gradually became something more. With encouragement from others, that early curiosity evolved into a serious pursuit, eventually leading to the creation of Laughing Lobster Photography. Andrew is a 1999 graduate of St. Francis Xavier University and a longtime resident of Antigonish, Nova Scotia. While he doesn’t have children of his own, being an uncle to 11 nephews and 5 nieces has given him a natural appreciation for connection, personality, and capturing people as they truly are.

Proudly rooted in Nova Scotia, Andrew draws constant inspiration from the province’s landscapes and lifestyle. The rugged coastline, quiet small towns, shifting seasons, and relaxed pace of life all influence his work. Whether shooting along a windswept shore, a historic street, or a simple natural backdrop, he aims to incorporate the character and atmosphere of Nova Scotia into each session, creating images that feel both grounded and genuine.

Andrew’s approach to photography is intentionally casual, relaxed, and unrushed. He understands that being in front of a camera can feel intimidating, so his focus is on creating an environment where clients can feel at ease and actually enjoy the experience. Sessions are interactive and easygoing, often incorporating light direction and fun elements or props to bring out natural expressions and personality.

What matters most is how clients feel—not just during the session, but afterward. People often leave surprised by how comfortable the experience was and excited to see the results. The final images reflect that comfort: natural, confident, and authentic—photos where you don’t feel posed, but simply look like yourself.
